After studying these underutilized fish, the company identified yellowstripe scad as an interesting opportunity. In Japan, this fish is enjoyed as a snack, while in Thailand it is more commonly consumed as dried fish.
This inspired the company to develop a grilled yellowstripe scad snack, creating a tasty, convenient product made with real fish protein while adding greater value to an underutilized marine resource.
